Thank you so much for stopping by our website. It is
my desire that you browse through the pages and be
encouraged and excited. I have been in education for
many years and I know Educators are constantly faced with
spiritual warfare from campus to campus. I admit, it can
be pretty tough but I always remember that the weapons of
our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the
pulling down of strong holds. The last thing you want to
do is pray, however, the bible teaches that we are to pray
without ceasing. Our main goal is to create a
large network of educators who perform their jobs and live
their lives, with excellence through the power of
God. Check out our about us page to find out our
specific beliefs. Remember, you are not alone!

Encouraging
Word
Fear
Not, I Am With You
We all basically as Christians know that we
shouldn’t fear. There is so much going on in this world and in our immediate
communities that can prompt us to fear.
For instance, I saw this headline: “Teachers
Could Be Fired Over Scores”.
The Word of God says that
..God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but
of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. II Timothy 1:7
In education there is much talk about
accountability. Nine
teachers were fired by their superintendent.
One school district eliminated half of their staff
and closed half of their schools.
The Lord wants you to know that your security is in
Him, not in man. Blessed
[is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the
LORD is. Jeremiah 17:7
God has your back! The Creator of the universe has your back.
If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? Romans
8:31b
I’ve heard educators talking about job security.
They fear that their job as an educator is not
secure. God
wants our security to be solely in Him not in our
profession. If
we trust in Him and Him alone, surely He will provide for
us the job that we need.
The Lord is your Shepherd, the Lord is your
Shepherd, the Lord is your Shepherd!
He will supply your needs, He will supply your
needs, He will supply your needs!
But my God shall supply all your need according
to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians
4:19 The Lord repeated this to me when I was looking for a
job. He let me know that if I could hear my baby’s faintest cry,
then surely God not being like man could hear me.
What a mighty God we serve?!
I remember standing in a long line at a teacher job
fair. I knew
that I needed a job and I knew that the Lord would make a
way. I
didn’t know how or when.
I do remember that the line was long for this
particular school at the job fair.
I got the job and I was so excited.
I knew that it wasn’t because I was so great or
had so many skills or so much experience.
It was by the grace of God that I was able to get
the job. The favor of the Lord was upon me and the favor
of the Lord is upon you.
There is enough favor of God to provide for all of
His children.
When other people are coming around talking about
“gloom and doom”, remember this: God is with you.
He is beside us to lead us and guide us.
You are not alone.
… for he hath said, I will never leave thee,
nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5c
If worry and fear come knocking at your door, you
don’t have to answer.
Instead answer the call of God upon you to let your
light shine by speaking in faith and trusting in Him. Trust
in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine
own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
Prayer Focus: We pray that
the Lord will cause us to look to him and not man. We pray
that the Lord will give us opportunities to talk about his
goodness with unbelievers that we work with. Thank you
Lord for providing us with jobs and making a way for us to
keep our jobs. We pray that you will make a way for
educators to find a job that have lost their job. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.
Please
send your prayer request to dtatum@edpray.net.
You
are an Awesome educator!
Have
a Blessed April!
