I’m sure that as a result of Hurricane Katrina, many people will deal with the loss of loved ones.  Our society will deal with the fact that so many lives were lost due to the hurricane.  We may ask: Why did this happen to so many people? Answers to this question may or may not help us to deal with grief.  Many times no one can answer this question for us.

A greater question that we should ask is: Why am I still here?

We have a purpose to fulfill.  We must ask God: What is my purpose in life? 

Allow Him to reveal His purpose for your life.

Our purpose as educators:

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

We must let our light shine on our campus.  We must live out loud what Christ has placed within us.  We must watch what we say and do, being mindful that we are representing Jesus.
